Job description

Generate accounting inputs (bank reconciliations, trial balances, working papers), reconcile/adjust the trust assets at the end of the month through accounting policies, issue financial statements and financial reports of the trusts based on current regulations (IFRS's), prepare regulatory reports applicable to the trusts, attend audits from external offices, align with the Bank's accounting policies that apply to the trusts. Apply the accounting record in Balance Sheet items derived from the Trustee's operation: income from fees, losses, unproductive, 8000's accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounting entries and policies
  • Knowledge in generating bank reconciliations and trial balances
  • Preparation of financial statements (Statement of financial position, Statement of income, Statement of changes and statement of cash flows and notes to the financial statements)
  • Preparation of reports in Excel (use of basic formulas, dynamic tables, database management)
  • Preparation of work papers and integrations for the financial statement audit processes
  • Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS's)
Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Office skills, specifically Excel
  • Teamwork Ability to work under pressure
  • Minimum 1 year experience (desirable) in trust accounting
  • Analytical skills for generating financial reports
