We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Application Development: Design, develop and maintain advanced Python applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Code Review and Best Practices: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior team members.
• API Design & Integration: Lead the development and integration of RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and provide innovative solutions to optimize the software
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Testing & QA: Ensure robustness of the code through comprehensive testing (unit tests, integration tests, etc)
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for codebases, architecture, and processes.
• Problem-solving: pro-actively identify challenges and provide technical solutions to complex problems.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
• Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
• Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in python programming.
• Experience in integration of RESTful APIs and third-party services in python and experience Flask framework.
• Must have worked in an environment with multiple interfaces involving diverse technologies and on premises and cloud architecture.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to articulate/communicate with business stake holders.
• Should have worked in agile scrum teams, good team player.
• Working knowledge on JIRA and Confluence.
• working knowledge of DEVOPS tools like Git, Docker, Kubernetes etc. and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good to have financial domain knowledge
• Good communication skills.
