Role Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled, ambitious and detail-oriented Digital Platform Manager to oversee the planning, creation, editing, and publishing of content across our website. This role ensures that all content aligns with brand standards, SEO best practices, and user experience goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Maintain content calendars and enforce publishing deadlines.
•    Actively build relationships with colleagues across products & propositions, sales and distribution, regional businesses, marketing, control functions, the global public website team and the wider organization working together to create compelling public website.
•    Monitor website performance, user engagement, and content effectiveness using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
•    Ensure content is accurate, current, and on-brand.
•    Review, proofread, and edit Arabic translations for linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and consistency with brand tone.
•    Coordinate with marketing, product, and Digital teams to ensure timely updates and campaign integration.
•    Oversee content lifecycle management—from creation and approval to deletion—ensuring content remains relevant and up to date.
•     Ensure strict adherence to established content governance standards, including brand guidelines, tone of voice, legal compliance, and accessibility best practices.
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment with governance frameworks throughout the content lifecycle.
•    Take ownership of Business As Usual (BAU) tasks and day-to-day operational changes, ensuring timely execution, accuracy, and minimal disruption to services.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

•    Graduation degree is required– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    2 to 5 years of experience managing public-facing digital platforms, preferably in financial services.
•     Proficiency in Arabic and English : Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
•     Understanding of SEO, UX principles, and content analytics.
•    Familiarity with HTML/CSS and responsive design (a plus).
•    Proficient in using workflow and project management tools, particularly Jira and Confluence. (a plus)
•    Excellent organizational and project management skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
•    Strong understanding of web technologies, CMS platforms, UX/UI principles, and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
•     Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued.
