We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Executive Assistant - Chief Operating Officer, Global Insurance.
Principal Responsibilities
- Organising schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodation
- Co-ordinating activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting administration, composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents such as business plans
- Deputising at meetings and making decisions on matters relating to the business area
- Managing external relationships and service providers
- Gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for an area
- Adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities in the remit area
- Prior experience of supporting multiple senior executives in a demanding, fast-paced Head Office environment. Must have a strong background as an established Executive Personal Assistant
- Ability to influence and motivate people from different cultures and backgrounds in order to achieve deadlines and goals
- Capacity to interact confidently with the Bank’s most senior management, including Group General Managers
- Demonstrated project management aptitude, organizing events across all levels, from top management to junior staff
- Well-developed cultural awareness with a sophisticated sensitivity to the many and varied customs and behaviours that such a wide range of individuals will exhibit
- High-level English language capabilities, both written and verbal, along with fluency in Cantonese
