The Financial Accounting & Reporting Officer will support finance activities across financial control and reporting, including monitoring the Bank’s income, costs and overall financial position. You will contribute to accurate financial and regulatory reporting in line with internal governance and local regulatory requirements.

In this role you will:

• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting systems for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities
• Review and monitor the Bank’s financial performance, highlighting key movements and drivers
• Prepare and/or support the submission of financial regulatory returns to local regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Liaise with internal/external auditors, responding to audit queries and providing supporting documentation as required
• Assist in the preparation of direct and indirect tax reporting
• Support business and finance colleagues with key deliverables and ad hoc request from management, regulators and internal stakeholders

You should apply if you have:

  • Strong analytical skills with well-developed problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills, delivering accurate outputs to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively within a professional team and support multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Exposure to financial reporting standards and/or regulatory reporting requirements within financial services will be an asset
  • Part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA) or proven experience in the financial services sector will be an asset
