We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development and enhancement of Restful APIs
- Focus on automating all aspects of the RedHat Linux, Windows & Virtualization platforms
- Augment development ecosystem & establish new standards and benchmarks
- Implement secrets management for applications using standard available tools.
- Increase speed of provisioning, availability, and performance.
- Work with Agile Teams, Architects, and Product Owners to identify and implement the most optimal solutions.
- Ensure the automation solutions meet compliance & other audit requirements
- Lead the migration of various technology stacks from one platform to another, namely, Mule to Kong, Puppet to AAP etc.
- Provide technical advise to team members and contribute in upskilling of the team.
- Innovate new solutions and ensure the products use latest technology stacks
Requirements
Qualifications – External
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field with a minimum of 10 years of work experience.
- Proficient in developing APIs in Java Springboot v3 and having expertise on JDK 17 and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience in code management in a large organization using GitHub
- Exposure to secret management tools like HashiCorp Vault or Ansible Vault.
- Experience in automation and orchestration technologies like Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)
- Advanced understanding of developing and testing automation using Ansible Playbooks and Jenkins via API calls
- Understanding of Code Development frameworks and writing test cases for unified solutions.
- Experience in understanding and adopting standard Framework Microservices.
- Innovative approach to deployment methodologies
- Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in developing scripts in powershell or bash with some level of understanding of Server Operating Systems.
