We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • The Dev Ops Engineer will learn, and master new technology based on UCM future state architect, current GCP, IKP, Mongo, CICD in a short time and work together with the global DevOps including India, Poland and China

  •  

  • Additionally, troubleshooting any technical issues relate DevOps process in the project and providing L2 Production Supporting.

  • Meanwhile, make sure that supporting systems and infrastructure are monitored proactively to detect exceptional events.


  • The Dev Ops Engineer will develop the build scripts that will create GKE instances, GCE instances load balancing proxies, ingress, and egress.

  • Using instance templates.

  • The foundation experiences that will be likely to underpin future success are:

  • Experience on DevOps and Agile Methodologies

  • Cloud Native Technologies: Kubernetes clustering, Docker, Istio Service Mesh

  • VPC peering and communication between across Cloud platforms and on prem.

  • Experience using Terraform (designing re-usable code & writing custom Terraform modules) to build the infra

  • Traditional Technologies: Bash/Shell, Unix/Linux

  • Delivering CICD pipelines for automated deployments, Python programming experience.

  • Familiar with Ansible, Jenkins, Nexus, Github, Jira, Confluence, Mongo DB, Intelij tools, Appd, Splunk

  • Experience with SQL automation with DB scripts, backup and restore.

  • Ansible script expertise for orchestration/deployment of the code into Infra with automation

  • Creating firewalls and secrets rotation.

  • Establishing SSL certificate management across the Infra layers.

  • Design and develop solutions for logging and monitoring.

  • Teamwork

  • Responsible for the timely delivery of DevOps related task in line with the quality and accurate, as will be reported to Senior Management

  • Supporting the completion of targeted control reviews covering IT risks and working collaboratively with other team members 

  • Establishing effective working relationship within the Global Dev team s

  • Supporting the IT Infra Manager in maintaining 'trusted advisor' relationships with internal stakeholders and other team

  • Supporting the delivery of the infra team and maintaining the alignment to HSBC's vision, values, and goals

  • Delivery of Infra team goals through timely completion of the plan and targeted reviews

  • Inspires and engages with people to create an inclusive and high performing testing team.

  • Supporting l teamwork and taking action to address any activities and behaviors that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best.
