We currently invite IT developer professionals with great potential and a strong passion to follow a career in the technology industry of HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking.

What you’ll do
    • Perform tech leader role for a Scrum team and coach its members.
    • Contribute to code and conduct other's code reviews.
    • Drive front to back delivery of new major modifications.
    • Own a technical vision and define a strategy of how to change a product to reach the vision including technology choices like frameworks, infrastructure and topology changes.
    • Communicate technical vision to outside world and explain benefits to address technical debt /platform improvements.
    • Contribute to finding production incidents root causes and drive its overall handling.
    • Engage and collaborate with wider CIB IT teams (such as involvement in local and global events).

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • IT background with proven development experience (in study and/or previous roles) and an active interest in technology and programming.
    • In-depth Scala knowledge.
    • Solid understanding of ZIO, Akka, SQL, Git, ScalaTest, Jira / Github.
    • Practical experience working in a Linux environment.
    • Experience using and developing REST APIs using JSON.
    • Experience in working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle.
    • Experience with Kafka.
    • Clean Code Principles, Design patterns.
    • The ability to organise your time and your tasks in the face of competing priorities.
    • A willingness to provide occasional weekend or after-hours support or cover as needs require.
Nice to have
    • Experience with tools such as: Ansible, ELK, Jenkins.
    • Experience with Python.

What we offer
The pay range for this role is 24 600 PLN - 36 900 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4,786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
