Your career opportunity
The role holder is part of the WPS Trading Support team. The team offers support for all the trading activities carried out by PB entities in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Guernsey. The reporting line is local, but the role holder has daily interactions with the Trading Support team in Geneva and book of work is determined by the Head of Trading Support.
What you’ll do
- The role holder is a Trading Support professional in a private banking environment, responsible for end-to-end monitoring and control of trading activities for HSBC Private Bank (Switzerland, Luxembourg and Guernsey).
- Ensures intraday trade integrity through UMA (unmatched, matched, alleged) trade investigation, FIX message monitoring, limit order monitoring, and timely escalation of issues.
- Performs daily post-trade reconciliation, error account management, trade rebooking’s, and regulatory trade reporting (SIX/BX). Also required to provide trading activity reporting (MI).
- Acts as a key liaison between Front Office, Operations, IT and external brokers, supporting ad hoc investigations, broker onboarding, IT incident management, testing activities, and process improvements while maintaining strong operational controls and documentation.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in Middle Office, Trade Support, or Banking Operations, preferably within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Strong understanding of investment instruments relevant to wealth management portfolios (equities, derivatives, OTC, bonds, FX, mutual funds, ETFs).
- Working knowledge of order routing and markets
- Familiarity with Avaloq and MS suite of products. Bloomberg knowledge a plus.
- High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and strong problem-solving skills.

The pay range for this role is 9225 PLN - 13833 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
