In this role you will:
- Drive the Asset Management business development activities, inclusive of the institutional sales through the Bermuda market, and retail sales through Wealth and Personal Banking
- Work closely with both international and local colleagues to deliver appropriate asset management solutions to our clients
- Assist in the annual formulation of a strategic business development plan and manage the execution of the plan as it pertains primarily to business development activities
- Prepare and present client proposals, respond to potential business inquiries, and make appropriate due diligence inquiries
- Devise plans and strategies to generate new business and increase revenue for existing clients
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum university degree with 10 years of experience in the financial industry, in an institutional asset management sales environment, with a sound knowledge of investment management strategies and products
- Demonstrated knowledge of business development, product knowledge and customer service skills with a focus on Asset Management products and services.
- Disciplined approach to business development with a proven record of building and converting sales pipeline
- Solid communication sills, with the ability to deliver presentations to a sophisticated client base and Corporate Boards
