In this role, you will:
- Work closely with Relationship Managers in providing investment support, education, and guidance to clients.
- Assess client investment needs, experience, and risk tolerance.
- Deliver CIO market updates and house views on timely basis and provide clear tactical strategy to clients and Relationship Managers to enhance their functional competences & professionalism.
- Develop comprehensive investment strategies and asset allocation appropriate to clients.
- Coordinate execution of investment strategies with appropriate products and services.
- Monitor client’s portfolios on a regular basis to provide timely market and performance update and investment products update to clients.
- Provide suitable investment rebalancing and adjustment advice based on client needs, house view and market condition.
- Deepening relationships with existing clients, in order to grow Investment AUM and Revenue.
- Provide input and support for the development of new business initiatives and product enhancement.
- Identify and communicate issues or limitations related to product, platform, operations, systems or pricing.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitor investment capabilities, product offering and pricing policies.
- Ensure integrity of sales process and compliance with all HSBC and regulatory policies
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Other project or initiatives or role transfer assigned by line manager.
- I hereby promise, that I'll abide by the laws and regulations related to insurance agency sales, and will not solicit any insurance policy holder to surrender his/her policies, which might harm the interest of the policy holder, upon my leaving the company or upon the termination of the agency business of the bank with relevant insurance companies.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• At least 10 years’ relationship management experience, ideally in private banking, commercial banking or investment banking sectors
• Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong focus on client servicing
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and wealth management products
• Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
