We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of; “Know Your Customer Analyst”

Role purpose:

Conduct Know Your Customer / Customer Due Diligence /Employment Development Department reviews of existing clients to ensure that the bank knows their customers, and is compliant with all legal, regulatory and internal requirements.

  • Improve Financial Crime Compliance and other regulatory and legal requirements by working with the business and the second line stakeholders to understand and manage risk. Make recommendations to retain or exit relationships based on risk.
  • Review on-boarding applications and documentation for new to bank customers, new relationships product and services
  • Serve as partner with the business in on-boarding and maintaining quality relationships, while mitigating regulatory and legal risk.
  • Serve as the CDD Utility for the US, ensuring clients are reviewed and made compliant with current standards at the time of a Material Trigger Event or a scheduled Periodic Review
  • Effectively manage Risk in Wealth and Personal Banking while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience desired.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, decision-making, communications, lateral thinking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the WPB Customer Due Diligence Procedures preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer software; Word, Excel, Microsoft, Power Point, Access Databases, Teams preferred.

Experience

  • +1 year of ability to handle escalations and balance KYC requirements with the customer experience.
  • +1 year of knowledge of pertinent Company products, services, processes, operations, regulations and systems impacting WPB.
