We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of senior consultant specialist 

In this role you will:

  • Key critical role required to be the techno-functional person.
  • Coordinate and embed technical standards, increase the maturity of the team, drive best practices, and ensure quality reliable, robust solutions are driven throughout the engineering team.
  • Take accountability for delivery of systems changes to the assigned POD and drive artifacts delivery as per plan.
  • Provide management support across other Work stream in project as required.
  • Work closely with diverse Business and IT teams & gain a detailed understanding of the Business requirements.
  • Identify solution options and perform solution option evaluations to get the best solution agreed.
  • Support Agile teams in issue resolution around the agreed solution to ensure that the release schedule remains on track and that functional issues are solved through appropriate, agreed solutions.
  • Work with the key stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions within the bank.
  • Proactively push team to innovate with ideas to drive the department forward.
  • Need to have data analysis tool expertise (e.g. SQL knowledge, database tools).
  • Understands risk exposure to the bank and help senior colleagues manage it.
  • Define and document solutions and changes producing comprehensive documents supported by structured analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Apply your expertise in business process modelling using different tools like Visio, Gliffy; Proficient in designing workflows, scenarios, swim lane diagrams, state diagrams etc.
  • Assure delivery through the entire life cycle of the project from user requirements through to go-live.
  • Support the development of the BA function and the team within the IT Portfolio and Programme Management practice.
  • Determine business suitability of proposed requirements with architect, developers and other relevant team members and provide recommendations.
  • Apply knowledge of SAFe agile by coaching team with SAFe practices, facilitating pre-PI planning, and ensuring a focus on delivering value to the customer.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in design thinking principles
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience working as Business Analyst preferably in Capital Markets.
  • Specialist in-depth experience of investment banking.
  • Hands-on experience of SQL Queries, ability to debug Stored Procedures, Java code and identify bugs/defects.
  • Experience on Google Cloud Platform is welcome.
  • Customer centric mindset: Good at identifying the problem statement and the business need for a change and propose solutions to create customer delight.
  • Having good business acumen, strong analysis skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of data sourcing, liaising with upstream systems and ensuring end-to-end clarity of requirements across multiple teams
  • Experience within IT/Finance/Risk change delivery programmes/projects is required.
  • A proven track record of the successful delivery of large-scale projects in previous domains to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal which shall be leveraged internally with IT teams and Business stakeholders.
  • Experience of different techniques used for requirements elicitation.
  • An ability to both influence global stakeholders and work effectively with them.
  • Good at conflict handling and resolution.
