We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Investment.

Principal Responsibilities

  • As part of the Hong Kong Insurance Investment team, manage real estate investments (global real estate funds and directly held Hong Kong properties), sustainable investments, and the investment aspects of linked insurance policies and pensions, including evaluating new investments
  • Support real estate investment, sustainable investment and other investment related matters across the Global Insurance entities
  • Assist in evaluating investment opportunities by undertaking detailed analysis, such as market mapping, financial analysis, and investment thesis development
  • Assist in the preparation of investment papers and the management of internal approval processes, including documentation, compliance, internal signoffs, etc
  • Support Hong Kong and Global Insurance investment related projects and governance matters and gathering, analysing and presenting related Hong Kong and Global Insurance investment data, including for regulatory reporting and other purposes

 

Requirements
  • University graduate with honours in economics, finance or quantitative finance or sustainable finance, actuarial, data analysis, business, mathematics or a related discipline or with substantial coursework in the foregoing or related subjects
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have a solid understanding of financial markets, real estate, investment asset classes, ESG, life insurance, and banking
  • Experience in research, analysis, financial modelling, valuations and presentations and strong familiarity with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
