The role is reporting into the Head of Segment, UAE. Within the Propositions team, the role has accountability for the Advance, Personal Banking (PB) and (referred to as “covered propositions” in the following) ensuring we achieve the maximum return and ensure the customer voice is at the heart of the proposition.
In this role you will be responsible for:
• Growing the Advance and PB franchise & be accountable for portfolio growth and growing market share in emerging affluent space
• Delivering Global VSIPs, Local VSIP, Optimization & building differentiation
• Managing the collaboration across WPB teams/ Group & Driving client insight Programme and analysis on client segmentation (X-sell PB/ Advance Salary etc.)
• Embed covered propositions initiatives and roll out other Group strategic initiatives & manage the core propositions to increase overall customer value inc. Commercialization of campaigns
• Build a strong retail sales funnel to support channels & Co-ordination with Products, digital, CIM to boost sales efficiency
• Working with Group and the local Distribution teams, the role holder is responsible for growing the Advance and PB franchise, enhancing the customer experience and deepening of these client relationships
• Owns proposition goals with accountability for customer growth targets, manages above and below the line initiatives for the proposition and executes local campaigns, through working closely with WPB Marketing and ensuring all customer solutions and offers add value to the customers, are competitive in the marketplace and align with the Group strategy
• The role holder is also responsible for understanding our target customers and the drivers behind customer behaviors, driving client insight Programme and analysis on client segmentation, the competitive landscape and market trends
• Work with product teams as required to ensure new products align with proposed segments ensuring an appropriate level of insight and research is used in the establishment of new products
The role holder will support other Proposition initiatives (e.g. relating to Premier, Corporate Employee Programme), depending on workload and priorities agreed within the team.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Relevant experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management
• Senior exposure of propositions, wealth management, product management or sales distribution,
• Depth of exposure and proven experience with mass affluent client segments
• Experience in the Retail and / or international segment preferred
• Solid experience of working with Marketing and Customer Insights
• Truly customer centric with great attention to details that makes difference on customer experience
• Proficient to translate customer needs into products and channel requirements
• Experience in commercial management across products and customer segments
• Broad knowledge of digital products and digital market trends, scrum methodology, social ecosystem
• Results oriented with high performance standard
• Excellent relationship building and with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Excellent presentation and pitching skills
• Strong ability to navigate conflicting strategic priorities and decisions
• Excel expertise is required
