Transaction Risk Management (TRM) is an integral financial risk control and management team within Global Trade Solutions (GTS). Objective of TRM to provide effective oversight on portfolio for product risk that emerges from trade products and solutions provided to clients to meet their working capital financing requirements. TRM manages such risk by proactively reviewing accounts/structures, evaluate transactional level risks as well as frequently conducting portfolio reviews. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our TRM team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets
In this role, you will:
• Monitor Structured trade facilities as per greed bespoke process on periodic basis and in line with the GTS FIM and The Global Operating Procedures (GOPs).
• Endorse Annual Reviews due including conducting desktop as well as onsite surveys to evaluate the GTS portfolio to identify risks and emerging trends.
• Review and validate RF payouts / settlement transactions as per agreed structure.
• Conduct risk review of RF facilities and prepare report to articulate high risk customer needing action individually and in collaboration with the Risk COE.
• Review first pays out checklists and ad hoc execution tasks to ensure timely delivery of the client funding
• Support in periodic, ad hoc, thematic review of portfolio including data preparation and analysis.
• Providing periodic communication to stakeholders including regular MI including buyer limit reconciliation and making suitable changes.
• Facilitate specific risk deals involving credit insurance as well as non-payment insurance.
• Participate in local, regional, global initiatives and projects as assigned from time to time.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Relevant experience in trade finance, corporate banking
• Moderate to advance knowledge of trade finance products especially Structure trade finance.
• Advance level understanding of insurance based limited recourse product offerings.
• Comfortable with data management including collecting, organizing, summarizing big datasets into understandable business summary for effective discussion and decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills i.e. Comfortable in writing up notes and presenting to peers and senior stakeholders that clearly articulates background, pre-text, proposal, analysis done, action or status.
• Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
