What you will do:
In this role you will:
• Do mandates processing, wholesale activities: Team specialized in Spanish Legal framework. Provide support to all Lines of Business and Functions in Spain, plus other HSBC entities around the world, for deed´s, Signatures and Power of Attorney verification due to complex mandate structures usually present in Spanish Corporates
• Support to Business/Functions/Other HSBC sites: Client Servicing team provides the legal information required to populate agreements and review the signature and faculties of the signers of every document received at branch level. Client Servicing team is the single point of contact for internal and external customers or other HSBC entities to address any legal enquiries around documentation: Mandates and Signature verification.
• Do SEPBLAC (Spanish AML body within Central Bank) reporting activities
• Understand, follow, and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business, specifically Internal Controls and Compliance policy.
• Perform ongoing re-assessment of the operational risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
You should apply if you have:
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Some law degree or knowledge of law
• Experience in related fields is preferable
• Attention to detail, are organized, and used to work with large amounts of documents
• The ability to prioritize, multitask and comply with deadlines
