The Company Secretarial function leads, develops and manages corporate governance throughout the Group. As principal advisors to the boards of directors on corporate governance matters, the team also holds responsibility for establishing and managing stock exchange listings; directing and managing shareholder meetings and equity raisings, and representing Group interests in the development of laws and regulations. 

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Officer, Cheque Processing.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Ensure the Domestic Cheque and International cheque operations to be completed under a tight processing time window and all internal or external cut-off time(s) are met on a daily basis
  • Ensure all internal procedure(s) are up-to-date and our operations are strictly in compliance with group policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements 
  • Incident escalation to management in a timely manner
  • Prepare and provide accurate monthly reports for billing and management reporting
  • Conduct periodic review on existing controls to ensure operational risk is contained and introduce new one if needed
  • Assist in process streamlining initiatives, project implementation and conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT)
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders. Reporting potential Financial Crime Activities. Handle and complete ad-hoc assigned task(s) on time
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Experience in administration and operations within sizable companies
  • Open to fresh graduates
  • Shift duty is required with shift allowance
  • Strong analytical and independent problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to details
  • Excellent communication in a team environment
  • Project Management skill, Vendor Management skill and Transformation skill will be a plus
