What you will do:
The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of HSBC Netherlands’s office, manage administrative responsibilities and maintain office procedures. Also, ensuring that the services are provided in line with the relevant HSBC Group standards, regulations, and risk management.
In this role you will:
- Manage office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness.
- Deal with office expenses (incl. supplier invoices, internal fees etc.), related payments and funding requirements.
- Order and maintain office supplies, handle mails, manage clients’ documentation and records retention.
- On-site facility support: maintain kitchen and grocery orders, overseeing office facilities maintenance.
- Manage and process external vendors’ purchase orders and invoices.
- Implement Protective Security measures in the office, first point of contact in case of alarm/emergency (24/7).
- Onshore IT support: first line assistance on IT issues, laptop rebuild, Audio/Video conference connectivity, advance IT knowledge.
- Manage IT inventory, and technology related onshore projects.
- Business Info Risk management (BIRO) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Implement and maintain Branch procedures and systems.
You should apply if you have:
- Professional work experience as Operations manager, preferably in an International Corporate or Financial Institution environment
- Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and able to handle any IT related queries.
- Passion for IT, willing to go above and beyond expectations to meet customer needs and resolve problems.
- Team player: easily develops good working relationships and willing to assist others to create an extraordinary service experience.
- Proven critical thinking, personal organizational and time management skills.
