We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme Manager.
The GPB COO - Wealth & Personal Banking provides support and services to business stakeholders and clients on project-based requests and assignments. The job holder should be precise, detailed oriented and be able to establish a strong working relationship with IWS internal business stakeholders and clients to ensure the projects and assignments are managed with highest standards of accuracy and efficiency, as per instructions within agreed business Service Level Agreement (SLA).
What you’ll do:
Scope of Work:
- Operates across a group of Agile Teams or supports S/VS Delivery Lead.
- Coordinating delivery across all aspects of change across subset of Agile Teams and in support of Delivery Lead.
Product ownership:
- Support Programme Operations (PO) to understand impact of changes in backlog prioritization on delivery plan.
Delivery Management:
- Responsible for delivery of defined backlog (usually across several Agile Teams) or VS (in support of Delivery Lead) delivery.
- Identify and manage delivery risks across a subset of Agile Teams/ SVS de.
- Responsible for coordinating Change & Implementation activities, engaging with Market Activation for digital channel changes, to ensure completion of impact assessments (customers, colleagues, back end, operations); Go to Market planning, internal & external comms, training, operational readiness, management of pilot, migration and customer launch, GNG governance, hyper care support, BAU handover.
- Responsible for coordinating flow to work functions, e.g. Legal, Marketing, Compliance, 2nd/3rd Line of Defence (LOD) as related to scope of backlog and delivery.
- Manage / support budgeting and financial management.
- Support detailed business case definition and business change cost estimates.
- Responsible for sign-off of change management approvals (incl. Change Framework compliance, Non Financial Risk (NFRs), Data Visa, Records Management, SOX).
- Support business vendor onboarding which enables delivery of DM’s scope.
- Define change delivery plan across several Agile Teams and/or SVSs with markets (e.g. market run ahead activities, Change & Implementation).
- Support S/VS reporting, including OKR tracking and management, QBR.
- Identify and manage business risks, managing approvals via RMM, GRROC etc.

What you will need to succeed in the role:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferably with a recognised professional qualification preferred.
- 3+ years relevant working experience in Product and Sales management/support sectors with exposure to business and customer analytics, management reporting, strategy, and planning.
- Knowledge and experience of IT vendor landscape and products.
- Ability to drive appropriate solution design and tooling selection for advanced analytics use cases.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to bring analytical rigor and structure and effective solutions to poorly defined problems.
- Experience working with business and IT stakeholders in global environment.
- Experience with Private banking industry is a plus.
- Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills – applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations) with all levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Professional qualifications in Project - e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM), Scrum Master Certification is an added advantage.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills with both stakeholders and senior management.
