We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to the application teams on end-to-end decommissioning process.
- Manage senior stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with application decommissioning and provide guidance and support towards data migration and ensure proper data archiving.
- Monitor the execution of removal of technical components (servers, databases, etc.) ensuring zero tech debris and charges.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders for product / service delivery review, integration & enhancement.
- Continuous improvements to related processes through automation and improvement initiatives at entity/functional level.
- Coordinate with any suppliers for technical solutions / service offerings.
- Coordinate with decommissioning service requests execution teams and escalates where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related field.
- Minimum 14 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure space.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and familiarity with decommissioning tools and techniques, such as data archiving and infrastructure removal.
- Experience with cloud and on-premises environments, including infrastructure, platforms, and software.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL and proven experience with project and programme management.
- Experience of managing decommissioning service requests execution process.
- Commercial and risk averse mindset.
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills including MIS reporting to CIOs.
- Experience of working on Data Centre exits/migrations is preferred.
