We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as  Senior Analyst

In this role, you will  be responsible for Delivery of Unix/Linux platform Cybersecurity consultative and operational services to technical customer

• Review and assess privilege escalation requests in conjunction with other team members and independently when needed.Review and assess configuration change requests submitted by technical customers.
• Review and assess the platform security of servers and appliances added to the HSBC network.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of the process procedures, keep abreast with changes made and provide quality services to the users.
• Effectively communicate with customers, addressing problems and offering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
• Be responsible for ensuring the Service Level Agreements are met.Work within the timelines set for the BAU tasks and projects.
• Strictly adhere to the group audit policies on security as team deals with physical and network investigations
• Identify any potential challenges and suggest solutions.
• The job holder should comply with all the guideline policies with respect to privileges e.g. dirty machine, external email address -should not be used for other purpose without proper approval.
• The job holder will have quality delivery sessions conducted by the Technical/Quality leads who will audit requests and deliver feedback to ensure that the team meets quality requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream, related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 year’s Information Technology/ Cybersecurity experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Quick learner with an ability to share and transfer knowledge.
• Ability to demonstrate a systematic approach to problem solving, be independent and a fast learner.
• Ability to build and maintain cordial relationship with users, peers and people at all levels using judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Solid technical knowledge of Linux with an emphasis on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Recent certification on cybersecurity domain will be given an added advantage.
• Experience with shell scripting is desirable.
