We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Technology Management.

 

Business: Markets & Sec Services Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with the TPM to manage the backlog of a team of globally distributed developers who collectively maintain and enhance the STAR BAU VAR platform and implement new STAR IMA features
  • Mentor and provide guidance to team for building technical competent solutions
  • Manage staff based on objectives and behaviour standards
  • Lead & inspiring the team to achieve and exceed their goals
  • Develop and uplifting the teams overall capability aiming for end to end delivery responsibility
  • ITSO BOW delivery
  • Talent management and succession planning
  • Ensure quality processes are defined and adhered to
  • Identify and assess risks associated with platform stability
  • Stakeholder management
Requirements
  • Traded Risk use cases
  • A focus on the basic tenets of sound technical design and a desire to embed architecture rigour
  • Knowledge and experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile and DevOps development practices
  • Ability to manage multiple challenging stakeholders globally with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions for complex business problems accompanied by estimates of costs and delivery dates
  • Excellent communicator who can liaise with different teams and different cultures globally
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies and business domain
