We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analytics - WHOLESALE CDAO - CHINA.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with country stakeholders to document business problems and gaps in current data and analytics capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical and data requirement documents.
  • Provide technical delivery options to senior stakeholders, including assessing data availability and limitations and timelines of each option.
  • Perform analysis on country MI inventory lists to simplify existing reports and identify redundant reports for simplification.
  • Perform data discovery to identify new and existing trusted datasets.
  • Work with multiple delivery teams to identify maturity of existing/upcoming data analytics capabilities such as Global Data Assets.
  • Design and implement MI reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Extract, clean and prepare datasets in a presentable format with minimal supervision.
  • Proactively identify and document technical and data related risks and issues, provide solutions where appropriate.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies in the field of data analytics to ensure the D&A team remains at the forefront of innovation.    
    Requirements
    • University degree in data related degrees such as Statistics, Data analytics, Computer Science and/or have a minimum of 6 years banking experience in relevant fields such as data analytics, process simplification, automation.
    • Strong experience in business process analysis and requirement gathering for analytics related projects, familiarity with requirement and process artefacts.
    • Ability to problem solve independently and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
    • Experience in designing and building MI reports using excel for management and performing data cleansing using Python.
    • Experience in quality control and testing in analytics related projects with ability to ensure accurate and quality outputs.
    • Good experience with new technologies and data visualization tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
    • Attention to details, with good communication and presentation skills.
    • Fluent in both English and Chinese.   

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
