International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

Process Improvement and Change is an important function of HSBC IWPB helping to achieve global and local strategic goals through project delivery. The team consists of Business Analysts, Testing, and Change Management, and works on projects to improve efficiencies and sustainability within WPB.  The team works closely with key stakeholders across IWPB’s divisions, as well as the Transformation and Technology team.

In this role, you will co-ordinate change across IWPB, so that the investment portfolio of initiatives delivers to most impact to our customers, people and community. You will also work to continuously improve our ways of working.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop the change framework, as part of design thinking change lifecycle 
  • Engage stakeholders, identify impacts, respond to the situation and context of our customers and people to develop change plans, processes and frameworks
  • Develop effective relationships with all business leads, and to work with change teams to effectively delivery change in partnership with these leads
  • Lead ways of working and agile practices for Design, Digital and Delivery 
  • Lead a team of change managers, including nurturing their relationships with all customer value streams/lines of business
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field with relevant experience in Change and Agile leadership. 
  • Experience in successfully improving businesses through change, through both change management and major transformation, and through developing way of working using collaborative practices.
  • A passion to put customers experiences and interests at the centre of transformation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
  • Hands on knowledge of agile and collaborative practices, with experience leading people in an agile context desirable.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
