We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: Enterprise Technology L3
Principal responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices based solutions, including hands-on implementation.
- Translate user requirements into detailed technical designs and specifications.
- Collaborate with multiple/cross-functional teams ensure delivery.
- Lead and mentor API team members in all technical aspects, ensure code quality and adherence to best practice.
- Implement complex business logic, resolving technical challenges and driving critical development work.
Requirements
Essential Technical Skills:
Core Java Expertise: Strong java 8+ development skills with deep knowledge of generics, annotations, multi-threads; experienced in performance optimization;
- Microservices & Integration: Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices solutions using spring ecosystem (spring boot 2.7+, spring cloud and Spring Data JPA).
- Database: Mandatory experience in Oracle 19c; PostgreSQL is a bonus. Strong SQL skills required.
- Caching: Experience in caching solution (Redis, Ehcache), including cluster setup and optimization.
- Containerization & Kubernetes: Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes (deployment, YAML/Helm scripting, cluster setup), and orchestration tools.
- Security: Experience resolving cybersecurity issues (SAST, CONT, DAST,.etc)
- Integration: Proficient in designing and implementing authentication/authorization for system integrations (HSBC DSP, oAuth 2.0, SAML,.etc).
- Tools & DevOps: CI/CD (Jenkins, Ansible); Build tools (Maven), Monitoring (Splunk, AppDynamics)
Essential Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication for remote teamwork and stakeholder coordination.
- Knowledge or experience of working in Agile methodology.
- Ability to lead the integrations with different systems both technically and functionally.
- Adaptability to learn new skills / technology quickly, flexibility to lead deployments and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Innovative mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently under pressure.
