We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Developer - MSS, Digital Business Services.
Principal Responsibilities
- Hands-on development and maintenance of core Java and Scala applications
- Participate in support and release preparation on a rota basis
- Collaborate with the team and business stakeholders to address Delta One business requirements, implement enhancements and provide updates
- Work closely with colleagues in Hong Kong, China and London to ensure seamless integration and functionality
Requirements
Essential:
- Expert level proficiency in Java
- Proven experience operating as a senior java developer, delivering performant and reliable technical solutions for the business
- A track record of delivering complex business solutions, even in times of ambiguity
- Experience in agile development and methodology
- Strong communication skills, curiosity and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team
Optional:
- Prior experience in a front office trading environment
- Experience in developing trading algos, electronic trading controls and low latency solutions
- Proficiency in Scala
