We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Relationship Manager.

Job Profile

This job will carry out some or all of the following tasks:

  • Drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment 
  • Grow HSBC’s share of ultra/high net worth client wallet involving investment and product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements 
  • Establish new relationships and manages existing relationship in order to generate new assets under management and Revenue 
  • Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the job holder is involved 
  • Provides full-service banking and all transactions to high-net-worth clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services 
  • Lead the ultra/high net worth client management cluster to achieve team’s business objectives and ensure ongoing development of all team members. Mentor junior RMs to support and deliver client performance against plan 
  • Contribute to achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment 
  • The job will report to the Desk Head in the Global India Team
Requirements

Requirements

  • Relationship management experience in Private Banking
  • Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
  • Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
  • Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
  • Excellent understanding of financial markets and products 

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
