We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

 

Business: FICC Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Prepare Detailed Specification that describe input, output & logical operation according to functional specification & requirement
  • Develop / Enhance IT solutions according to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirement while adhering to Group IT standards
  • Support system integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables, and support business to complete user functional testing and conduct high volume and/or stress tests
  • Identify any issues that may arise and develop measures to control risks
  • Provide on going support and maintenance on existing IT solutions
Requirements

 

  • Proficient in Java(EE) development, deep understanding and experience with RDBMS, Messaging, Reporting, Batch Job and RESTFul API technologies.
  • Strong in javascript development(ES6), experience in AngularJS, ReactJS or relevant front-end framework. 
  • Experience with Spring, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, Git
  • Excellent communication skills – both conversational and written in English – need to talk to UK business daily.
  • Experience of working in an Agile development team, with Scrum, test driven development, etc. 
  • Ability to work flexibly and take responsibility for all areas of work as required
  • Enthusiasm about working in a global team with different cultures 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, open-minded and able to work flexibly 
  • Both a teamwork approach and self-sufficiency
  • BS degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalence experience
