We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Be part of a team that performs sustainable continuous improvement, identifying and removing organisational barriers affecting the team, processes and products owned
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs, data pipelines (Python), and front-end components (React/Angular/HTML/CSS)
- Set up and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with integrated automated testing
- Collaborate with developers to define robust test strategies and identify areas for automation
- Conduct performance and regression testing to support regular software releases
- Monitor and troubleshoot test failures, logging meaningful bug reports and following up on fixes
- Maintain test documentation, including coverage metrics and test case repositories
- Champion test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices
- Predominantly performing hands on technical tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation
- Hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or REST Assured
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of modern web architecture and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
- Excellent debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
