We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities
The job holder will have to perform the following duties in WPB STAFF CHANNELS & SELF SERVICE application:
Develop and Implement IT solutions to meet business requirement.
Conduct system test, user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation
Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed
Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling and practices adoption
Collaborate with a variety of teams for development and incident management
Work closely with Global infrastructure and engineering team to build the solution
Requirements
Solid knowledge and experience in React, C#, Java Springboot, etc.
Solid knowledge and experience on Mango DB and Oracle DB
Solid experience in writing and conducting Unit Tests and UI tests, etc
Good analytical, design and problem solving skills;
Experience of working in a DevOps focused environment and working in an Agile Team
Fluent English speaking and professional business writing skills
Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
Ability to rapidly learn new concept, business models, and technologies
What additional skills will be good to have?
Solid knowledge of external cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, or Ali Cloud
Experience in any Industry standard Application Performance Monitoring Tool such as AppDynamics, Splunk, etc
Experience with tools such as GitHub & JIRA, etc
Knowledge of banking channels
