We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President/Regional Sales Manager – Global Trade Solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Manage a portfolio of Global Trade Solutions (GTS) clients having regional treasury centre in Singapore as a Regional Sales Manager to provide solutions and structures that meet their trade and working capital needs for the region by proactively working with Sales Managers across various countries to identify opportunities, lead RFPs & client pitches

  • Provide expert direction and subject matter expertise for the completion of complex solutions and deal structures, alongside execution of high-quality service to our customers

  • Communicating new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers, as well as co-creating trade solutions with customers. Leading initiatives such as sales enablement and GTS penetration across the region

  • Devise client plans and strategies to identify sales opportunities, as well as increasing revenue for existing clients to achieve asset & revenue growth. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including relationship mangers & product specialists to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank

  • Partner with Relationship Managers on all credit risk matters including credit assessment/ commitment/returns

  • Work with Implementation teams in a timely fashion to ensure an efficient execution plan for seamless and quick implementation

  • Participating in events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities

  • Protecting the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews. Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions and showcase due consideration of bank’s reputation and objectives

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • University degree holder (Finance, Business or related discipline) with strong experience in trade finance industry in front line roles

  • Good client network and track record of trade finance sales. Proven Track record of leading trade finance transactions for large global clients. Regional sales experience would benefit you

  • Extensive knowledge of global trade finance solutions and structuring experience with strong understanding of trade finance & working capital management

  • Recognized as a Trade Finance specialist with ability to display in depth knowledge and understand the risk profile of relevant products and services, and act as the lead for opportunities with clients and internal stakeholder

  • Strong financial and analytical skills with good problem-solving mindset (identifying problems, recognizing important information, establishing connections and providing solutions)

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
