We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Subject Matter Expert
Principal responsibilities
- Implement and monitor controls across exceptions, reconciliations, quality assurance and pairing & matching.
- Mitigate under-reporting, over-reporting, and mis-reporting risks identified by controls.
- Escalate identified issues and work with various stakeholders to implement strategic solutions.
- Create management information dashboards to highlight key performance indicators and risk indicators.
- Respond to counterparty queries and exchange information for accurate reporting.
- Manage audit and business queries within agreed Service Level Agreement response time.
- Create requirements for IT/regulatory change solutions and test them for business acceptance.
- A degree in banking / finance / risk management.
- Understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle and characteristics of typical OTC Derivative products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS excel and other MS office applications.
- Knowledge of ETL tools (QlikView, Power BI)
- Coding skill in VBA, Python, SQL.
- Proficiency in project management and workflow tools (JIRA, MS projects, MS SharePoint, Confluence)
- Prior experience with managing internal/external audit.
- Financial Risk Manager (FRM ®) Certification – GARP
