The Tax Reporting Specialist role covers the activities of the reporting to Tax authorities as FATCA/CRS/QI, Swiss Stamp tax and Withholding payable tax.
The role covers the activity of the client tax statements production for PBRS in Switzerland, as well as PBLU and PBCI.

What you will do:
The role primarily surrounds ensuring that the production of the regulatory reporting required to the tax authorities are accurate and done in timely manner.
Regulatory reporting as QI/FATCA/CRS from the reconciliation to the submission to the tax authorities. This include the monitoring, the collection of the K1,1042-S forms and quality insurance.
The role includes :
- the reconciliation and reporting of the Swiss Stamp Tax and Witholding Payable Taxes
- the tax reports solutions sent out to client.
- the tax reclaim process by supporting our provider to collect all required documentations and to follow the claim until the payment is received
Being at the end of the operational chain, the tax reporting activity monitoring is a privileged way to detect any upstream issues, discrepancies within operations/core systems. In this scope the role also covers the coordination/management of issues fixing in order to enhance reporting accuracy overall.
Indeed, the Tax reporting specialist must act across all departments in order to enhance the reporting quality. Guarantee the figures accuracy and coordinate the appropriate correction when an error has been detected on Reports / Systems / Products which requires multiple skills and especially being able to speak both IT and Business “languages”.
Due to the complexity of systems architecture in place, any decision of change, fixing, improvement must be submitted to the service manager before action.
In this role you will:
- Support Front Office on Tax reporting related subjects/issues.
- Support Offshored teams for the production of Tax Statement, follow-up and investigation issue
- Coordinate with Outsourced Teams and Front Office for Tax Reclaim process
- Business / Client investigation issues.
- Participate in Tax reporting related projects (Building of adequate Tax reporting solutions, Project related to the Tax reporting accuracy improvement…).
- Support Offshored team on the production of Tax documents for final clients (Generic, Specific)
- Production of mandatory documents required by Tax authorities.
- Ensure that Tax Documents are conform with the rules applicable by Swiss tax Authorities/Foreign Tax authorities (When applicable).
- Provide efficient and timely support to RM's for raised issues/requests.
- Ability to anticipate RM's requirements/new clients’ needs.
- Specific Financial knowledge: Interests, Capital Gain, Corporate Actions, financial products

- Computer skills : Avaloq, EasyTax, FiTax, MS Office.
- Fluency of spoken and written French and English, German a plus.
- Conscientious, hardworking and result oriented. Motivated to achieve high performance. Methodical and adaptable.
- Enquiring mind, actively seeking information. Proactive, with desire to improve processes
- A strong team player, working closely with operational areas towards resolving outstanding items. Co-operates and builds rapport with others. Good communication skills and information sharing.

- Analytical & Problem solving skills – the candidate should be to analyse and comment on large volumes of data and be able to propose solutions to issues within a short period of time.
