We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Senior Business Analyst

In this role, you will:

  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for ServiceNow access related workflows.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive requirements capture.
  • Conduct GAP analysis by assessing current (“as-is”) workflows and translating findings into actionable requirements.
  • Ensure feasibility of requirements through thorough technical reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with HSBC IDAM (Identity & Access management) controls.
  • Complete business requirements reviews, securing approvals from product owners, and facilitation technical estimation.
  • Document all requirements and user stories in Jira, ensuring alignment with development and delivery teams.
  • Oversee task allocation and story assignments to development teams, ensuring timely completion.
  • Support deployment planning and execution, with a deep understanding of project epics.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies in collaboration with the product owners, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by coordinating required teams and managing testing processes. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned epics until deployment completion.
  • Provide consultancy support for other projects as needed.
  • Estimate project timelines and ensure effective planning to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Organize and conduct story reviews and facilitate “Show and Tell” meetings.
  • Analyze data usage patterns to identify potential quality issues and risks to the project.
  • Promote operational efficiency by identifying areas for improvement within IAM development.
  • Maintain awareness of operational risk and proactively minimize potential disruptions.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage dependencies and issue to prevent project delays.
  • Any other duties requested of you to support the deliverables to ensure the project success.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and security.
  • Establish and implement best practices for project delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Business Analysis certifications such as:
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
  • Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Identity & Access Management (IAM) controls.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow’s functionality, database structure, and APIs uses.
  • Technical proficiency in IAM technologies, including SailPoint, Delinea, HarshiCorp, Active Directory, UNIX, iSeries, databases.
  • Solid experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to document requirements effectively.
  • Excellent verbal, written and active listening skills with proven facilitation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and reporting skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Identity and Access Management
  • Security certification such as: CISA, CISA, CISSP, CISMA
