We are looking for a high calibre candidate to join the LATAM FX Cash Desk in New York, servicing our clients across the whole region and globally. This professional will be responsible for providing timely and accurate dealing services for clients in the assigned area. The professional will also manage the firm’s inventory and trading risk under supervision and as assigned in compliance with all applicable regulation within the LATAM FX Cash Desk.

As our Trading Associate, LATAM FX Cash Desk  you will:

  • Maintain various risk positions and manage within position limits, providing liquidity and trade ideas to clients while trading within set limits to help the trading team achieve a given revenue target
  • Ensure correct ticket entry and order routing, maintain communication with sales desk and assists in resolving any settlement problems, ensure ticket entry completion and provides general trading activity support, as necessary
  • Provide consistent pricing and market making to sales force and target clients
  • Monitor all daily electronic trading activity and determine where certain trades should be routed for execution, review all activity for accuracy of account information
  • Execute firm and customers' trades in accordance with desk Volcker designation and may contribute to the formulation of trading strategies
  • Ensure all trades are booked to front office position keeping system on the day they are executed
  • Reconcile daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,000.00 and $150,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
