Manage and lead strategic initiatives related to change management, service delivery, financial oversight, and risk governance across global and regional operations. The role also involves driving digital transformation, promoting data literacy, and organising initiatives to build a culture of innovation and continuous learning that enhance digital capabilities across the organisation.
Principal Accountabilities:
Change Management Execution and Organisation Transformation
· Oversee portfolio-level status reporting for locally material projects, working with PMs / PMOs to ensure accurate tracking and governance reporting
· Drive change governance by ensuring initiatives align with regulatory requirements, strategic priorities, and best practices while proactively mitigating risks
· Act as a key liaison between GB / GF / DBS to drive alignment, facilitate executive reporting, and enhance stakeholder engagement
· Support regional and country-specific programmes that drive the execution of the COO’s strategic actions and transformation initiatives
Communications
· Develop and execute communication strategies within DBS , ensuring alignment with bank-wide messaging and initiatives
· Share key achievements, progress updates, and insights with bank-wide staff and senior management through presentations and newsletter
Financial Planning
· Support robust financial planning, budget management, and performance tracking in collaboration with the Group / Regional / Country Finance to ensure alignment with strategic goals
Governance and Risk Management
· Develop and implement consistent governance frameworks supported by thorough documentation to ensure effective oversight and compliance
· Oversee non-financial and financial risk programs, ensuring risks are managed consistently and aligned with the organisation’s risk appetite
· Manage risks associated with intra-group activities, ensuring governance and oversight are maintained across market operations
Digital Transformation and Data Literacy
· Drive digital transformation by fostering a culture of data literacy and continuous learning across the organisation
· Organise and lead digital initiatives and training programs to improve digital skills and awareness
Education:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management, finance, or a related field. Equivalent business experience may also be considered
Experience:
· 5-8 years of experience in banking, financial services, or related fields.
· Experience with risk management, governance frameworks, and project management.
· Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and promoting data-driven cultures
Skills:
· Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decisions
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
