International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) is Commercial Banking’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Commercial Banking (CMB) customers within the Large Corporate and Mid- Market Enterprise segments. The International Subsidiary Banking strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth, and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The International Subsidiary Banking business is a significant contributor of revenue to Commercial Banking and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team

Principal Responsibilities

·       Manage and grow a portfolio of ISB corporate relationships involving multinationals companies headquartered mainly from Europe spread across various industry sectors.

·       Work with product specialists to identify products and services that are most suitable to customers and develop product solutions. 

·       Deliver excellent banking services (including but not limited to loans, cash management, global market solutions, trade financing solutions), integrating our capabilities into customers' strategic business development processes, while adhering to Group values, business strategies, operational policies, regulatory and risk management practice

·       Ensure sound Financial Crime Risk FCR management through timely completion of periodic and event-trigger Customer Due Diligence reviews, ongoing monitoring of 

·       Liaise with overseas HSBC Global Relationship Managers in driving new business referrals, devising relationship strategies, and sharing of FCR information.

Requirements

·       University degree along with minimum 5-10 years previous experience in corporate banking.

·       MBA in Finance/ Business management will be an added advantage.

·       Experience in managing corporate relationships with international needs, Credit and analytical skills are require.

·       Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including understanding of business models, economic, cultural, procedural, and regulatory issues

·       Experience in marketing, business development and portfolio management from within a variety of industries 

·       Proactive, customer-driven approach, with a strong sales and marketing orientation and entrepreneurial spirit 

·       Good communication skills in English. Fluency in other foreign language also a plus
