Report to : SVP Technology
- To coordinate the activities among IT teams, user departments, and other service departments, and external parties such as software and hard ware suppliers to deliver assigned projects on time, within budget and meeting appropriate levels of quality.
- To ensure that systems delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
- In charge of implementing work practices, standards and quality monitoring in IT, during development, implementation and daily use.
- Responsible for IT related project decisions and understand both the business objectives and the IT teams contribution for their assigned projects.
- Provide technical leadership for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to local business units.
- Identify & engage all key stakeholders, contributors and business and technical resources that must participate in the assigned projects.
- Manage the full systems development life cycle (or project life cycle) from approved Clear choice to Implementation to ensure business requirements are met or exceeded, on time and within budget in line with business targets.
- Maintain HSBC internal control, standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.
- Ensure that the project teams operate in accordance with Global IT standards.
- Will assist the business in executing business strategy from a technology perspective.
- Develop employee’s knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise, providing coaching and sponsoring training solutions where necessary.
- Supports the Open environment end user application deployment into HSBC. Manages and follows HSBC Global deployment approach.

Information
- With years of experiences in financial institution area.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with major or minor in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- A good command of skills and capabilities in people management, project management and technical skill/management is required.
- Have strong knowledge of the project management discipline and can put it into practice.
- Required to understand the business requirement, have a strong commercial orientation and appreciate the business usage of system developed.
- Good communication with negotiation skills.
- Have strong interpersonal skills to foster partnership among project participants and collaborate with them to ensure successful project delivery.
- The ability of reading and speaking in Mandarin & English is a must.
- Preferred IT skill including 軟體開發類 (ie SDLC, Systems Administration, Systems Analysis ), 程式設計類 (ie Java, ASP, VBA, Python…), 資料庫設計類 (ie DB2, MS SQL, Oracle…etc)
