Wholesale Transformation is responsible for world-class strategic transformation of Wholesale banking through smart execution. We act as strategic partners to business and create world class digital capabilities that enable HSBC Wholesale to digitize at scale and simplify the lives of our colleagues & customers.

We are a team of ~500 globally and over 40 in Poland, driving design, business change, product ownership, simplification and automation across Wholesale Value Streams (Client Onboarding and Servicing, Global Payment Solutions, Global Trade & Receivables Finance, Capital Markets, Sustainability, Platforms & Regulatory programmes).


The Opportunity:


The purpose of this role is to successfully shape and execute against Wholesale’s global strategic change agenda. Strategic Business Change Managers will collaborate with CMB & GB Business to successfully deliver Change The Bank (CTB) programmes to digitize our products, propositions and internal processes. They will have proven experience of successfully shaping and executing against the overall programme Objectives & Key Results (OKRs). They will be responsible for the timely and high quality delivery of programmes, adhering to HSBC core practices & frameworks (Change Framework, Value Streams, Agile). They will be responsible for managing programme outcomes, costs, headcount, risks and issues and will work to ensure benefits and values are realised.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and drive engagements within Wholesale Transformation.
  • Support the development of solutions/TOM/Business model and to support the recommendation and achievement of buy-in for the recommended solution/business model and its implementation approach.
  • Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners, building strong relationships to ensure consensus and influence change outcomes.
  • Develop business cases, proposals, presentations and other high impact documents for meetings and events being undertaken.
  • Help build collaboration between Change teams, Business, Operations and IT.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of management reports on key initiatives and projects that are being undertaken by actively engaging stakeholders.
  • Proactive planning and update on regular activities to track progress against plan.
  • Provide consulting / project management expertise across initiatives globally.
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices; report concerns or observations in terms of control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational risk impact.


You’re a great candidate if you have these:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing business cases, proposals, presentations and other high impact documents for meetings and events being undertaken.
  • Should have delivered projects with medium to high complexity and scope.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of project execution and delivery, and effective stakeholder management.
  • Ability to operate well across cultures and in multi-cultural diverse work environments.
  • Strong relationship management and project / change management skills.
  • Ability to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders, and get necessary decisions taken within desired timelines.
