We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Settlement Officer.
Principal Responsibilities
- To receive and validate incoming instructions and arrange to send to SEC for processing
- To handle enquires from Front Office regarding settlement / corporate action events
- To follow up settlement / operation actions issues with AEs / SEC
- To handle physical scrip deposit / withdrawal
- To handle IPO / Placement / Sub-underwriting
- To perform administration duties of the department
- To coordinate with SEC on issues arising from daily operations
- To assist Cash Management and Settlement Manager in implementing company policies and procedures
- To handle routine and ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Degree holder, with 2 to 5 years working experience in Bank, preferably in Retail Banking and Wealth Management / Brokerage business
- Strong knowledge of products and process in Retail Banking and Wealth Management, in particular securities, futures & options related
- Good understanding of the Functional Instruction Manual, and other external and internal policy related to Retail Banking and Wealth Management / Brokerage business
- Strong oral and written communication skills
